FULL MOVIE: The Gospel of Mark
1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; 2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make the Lord's paths straight. 4 John did baptize in the wilderness & preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 5 & there went out unto John the baptist all the land of Judaea & they of Jerusalem & were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. 6 & John was clothed with camel's hair & with a girdle of a skin about John the baptist's loins; &Â John the baptist did eat locusts & wild honey; 7 & preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down & unloose. 8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but Christ shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. 9 & it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee & was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 & straightway coming up out of the water, Jesus saw the heavens opened & the Spirit like a dove descending upon Jesus: 11 & there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 12 & immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness. 13 & Jesus was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; & was with the wild beasts; & the angels ministered unto Jesus. 14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 & saying, The time is fulfilled & the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye & believe the gospel. 16 Now as Jesus walked by the sea of Galilee, Jesus saw Simon & Andrew Simon's brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 17 & Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me & I will make you to become fishers of men. 18 & straightway they forsook their nets & followed Jesus. 19 & when Jesus had gone a little further thence, Jesus saw James the son of Zebedee & John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets. 20 & straightway Jesus called them: & they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants & went after Jesus. 21 & they went into Capernaum; & straightway on the sabbath day Jesus entered into the synagogue & taught. 22 & they were astonished at Jesus doctrine: for Jesus taught them as one that had authority & not as the scribes. 23 & there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; & the man with an unlcean spirit cried out, 24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. 25 & Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, saying, Hold thy peace & come out of him. 26 & when the unclean spirit had torn him & cried with a loud voice, the unclean spirit came out of him. 27 & they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth Jesus even the unclean spirits & they do obey Jesus. 28 & immediately Jesus fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee. 29 & forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon & Andrew, with James & John. 30 But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever & anon they tell Jesus of Simon's wife's mother. 31 & Jesus came and took Simon's wife's mother by the hand & lifted Simon's wife's mother up; & immediately the fever left Simon's wife's mother & Simon's wife's mother ministered unto them. 32 & at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto Jesus all that were diseased & them that were possessed with devils. 33 & all the city was gathered together at the door. 34 & Jesus healed many that were sick of divers disease & cast out many devils; & suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew Jesus. 35 & in the morning, rising up a great while before day, Jesus went out, & departed into a solitary place & there prayed. 36 & Simon & they that were with Jesus followed after Jesus. 37 & when they had found Jesus, they said unto Jesus, All men seek for thee. 38 & Jesus said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth. 39 & Jesus preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee & cast out devils. 40 & there came a leper to Jesus, beseeching Jesus & kneeling down to Jesus & saying unto Jesus, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 41 & Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth Jesus hand & touched the leper & saith unto the leper, I will; be thou clean. 42 & as soon as Jesus had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him & the leper was cleansed. 43 & Jesus straitly charged him & forthwith sent him away; 44 & saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest & offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. 45 But he went out & began to publish it much & to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: & they came to Jesus from every quarter.
