Genesis 39

Genesis 39:23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under Joseph's hand; because the LORD was with Joseph & that which Joseph did, the LORD made it to prosper.

Genesis 39:22 & the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; & whatsoever all the prisoners did there, Joseph was the doer of it.

Genesis 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph & shewed Joseph mercy & gave Joseph favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

Genesis 39:20 & Joseph's master took Joseph & put Joseph into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: & Joseph was there in the prison.

Genesis 39:19 & it came to pass, when Joseph's master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that Joseph's master wrath was kindled.

Genesis 39:18 & it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice & cried, that Joseph left his garment with me & fled out.

Genesis 39:17 & Potiphar's wife spake unto Potiphar according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:

Genesis 39:16 & Potiphar's wife laid up Joseph's garment by her, until Joseph's lord came home.

Genesis 39:15 & it came to pass, when Joseph heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that Joseph left his garment with me & fled & got him out.

Genesis 39:14 That Potiphar's wife called unto the men of her house & spake unto them, saying, See, Potiphar hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; Joseph came in unto me to lie with me & I cried with a loud voice:

Genesis 39:13 & it came to pass, when Potiphar's wife saw that Joseph had left his garment in her hand & was fled forth

Genesis 39:12 & Potiphar's wife caught Joseph by Joseph's garment, saying, Lie with me: and Joseph left his garment in her hand & fled & got him out.

Genesis 39:11 & it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; & there was none of the men of the house there within.

Genesis 39:10 & it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that Joseph hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

Genesis 39:9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath my master kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness & sin against God ?

Genesis 39:8 But Joseph refused & said unto Joseph's master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house & my master hath committed all that my master hath to my hand;

Genesis 39:7 & it came to pass after these things, that Joseph's master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; & Joseph's master's wife said, Lie with me.

Genesis 39:6 & Potiphar left all that Potiphar had in Joseph's hand; & Potiphar knew not ought Potiphar had, save the bread which Potiphar did eat. & Joseph was a goodly person & well favoured.

Genesis 39:5 & it came to pass from the time that Potiphar had made Joseph overseer in Potiphar's house & over all that Potiphar had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; & the blessing of the LORD was upon all that Potiphar had in the house & in the field.

Genesis39:4 & Joseph found grace in Potiphar's sight & Joseph served Potiphar: & Potiphar made Joseph overseer over Potiphar's house & all that Potiphar had Potiphar put into Joseph's hand.

Genesis 39:3 & Joseph's master saw that the LORD was with Joseph & that the LORD made all that Joseph did to prosper in Joseph's master hand.

Genesis 39:2 & the LORD was with Joseph & Joseph was a prosperous man; & Joseph was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

Genesis 39:1 & Joseph was brought down to Egypt; & Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought Joseph of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought Joseph down thither.
